The IHCL AURA Connector lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT talk to AURA — IHCL's dedicated concierge AI. AURA handles restaurant discovery, reservations, and dining questions across every IHCL property in India.
Instead of navigating websites and forms, you simply ask your AI assistant in plain English. Your assistant sends the request to AURA, AURA works out the details with the relevant property, and confirms back — all inside your chat.

Sends your natural-language message to AURA and returns AURA's reply. AURA is a full conversational agent — it handles greetings, follow-up questions, occasion preferences, dietary notes, and confirmation of bookings.
Multi-turn context is preserved automatically: if AURA asks a follow-up (e.g. "Which restaurant would you prefer?"), your reply is understood in context.
A note on efficiency: AURA works best when you share all booking essentials upfront — cuisine or restaurant name, city, date, time, party size, and guest name. Your AI assistant will collect these before contacting AURA, keeping the booking to one or two turns.
AURA will ask for your phone number when it's actually needed to complete a reservation. Provide it only when AURA asks — not upfront.
Only the messages you or your assistant send to the tool — for example, your booking preferences, dates, party size, guest name, and phone number when you provide it. Nothing else from your chat history is transmitted.
Requests are routed through IHCL's AURA platform (operated with Tata Communications) to the relevant property's reservation system. Your phone number and name are used solely to complete the booking.
This connector does not store personal data. Session context (used to continue a booking across multiple turns) exists only for the duration of your active chat.
The connector currently supports restaurant reservations at participating IHCL properties. Room bookings, spa services, and other hotel amenities may be added in future releases.
